1. Tải chương trình tại Download here: password.xla (zipped: password.zip)

2. Mở Excel, vào Tools\ Macro\ Security, chọn Medium ở thẻ Security Level.

3. Mở file password.xla bạn vừa tải về ở bước 1 để nạp chương trình. Bạn chọn Enable Macros khi được hỏi.

Một thông báo cho biết macro đã được nạp thành công, nhấn OK. Và bây giờ, bạn đã có thêm hai lệnh mới trong menu Tools: Unprotect sheet và Unprotect workbook.

4. Mở file Excel mà bạn quên mật khẩu. Vào Tools\ Unprotect sheet hay Tools\ Unprotect workbook tùy theo bạn quên mật khẩu của sheet hay workbook. Chờ trong giây lát, sheet/workbook sẽ được mở khóa.
